Portfolio Prep

This is an art class for students ages 10 and up. The majority of students are teens working on drawing and painting projects. We provide custom art coaching for each student. Projects encourage imaginative, expressive, visual solutions while also building observational drawing skills. Students are introduced to high quality art materials, contemporary and historical art, and innovative lessons that are created by Professor Carrie Patterson and her art team!

When: Wednesdays

Adult Art Club

This is a tutorial style adult drawing and painting class open to beginners and more experienced painters. We provide custom art coaching for each student. Students decide what type of drawing or painting project they want to pursue and Professor Carrie Patterson and her team work with individuals to increase technical skills, find stylistic voice, and critique work.

When: Fridays

Time: 12:00PM - 2:00PM

Studio 101

This is a tutorial style open studio for adults and teens. Intended as a time where homeschoolers or half day seniors, gap year high schoolers, or adults want more time on their projects to work with a Yellow Line Instructor. This class is primarily drawing and painting and open to beginners as well as more experienced painters. We provide custom art coaching for each student. Students decide what type of drawing or painting project they want to pursue and Professor Carrie Patterson and her team work with individuals to increase technical skills, find stylistic voice, and critique work.

Draw/Paint/Sculpt

This is an art class for students ages 5 and up. Projects connect all three types of art making: drawing, painting, and sculpture. Most projects are complete within one class period and students are encouraged to participate in the activity for the day. Projects encourage imaginative, expressive, visual solutions while also building observational drawing skills. Students are introduced to high quality art materials and innovative lessons, many created by Professor Carrie Patterson and then produced into products at Yellow Line!

Cost: $200-$250/month

Illustration

This class is geared towards students 5 and up who are interested in telling visual stories. From comics, to graphic novels, they will learn basics of character design, sequential art, and the human figure.

When: Sundays

Cost: $200-$250/month

5 Class Punch Pass

The 5 Class Punch Pass provides all the flexibility you need to fit creativity into your busy schedule. We recommend you register with staff in advance of attending a class to ensure availability.

ART pARTIES

Who: Your birthday star and their crew! (8 minimum, 15 maximum)
Cost: $45.00 per person

Whether you need a venue for your birthday star and their crew, your girls scout troop, or just a fun night out with friends, Yellow Line has all your Art Party needs covered. We will customize your time in the studio providing every artsy detail. To book a party, register using the button below. A non-refundable deposit will be required at the time of registration.
